The Senior Director of Business Intelligence leads the strategic vision, development, and execution of enterprise-wide analytics initiatives. This role enables data-driven decision-making across Memorial Healthcare System by overseeing the design and delivery of advanced analytics, AI-powered insights, and scalable business intelligence solutions. Fosters a culture of curiosity and innovation through the development of self-service analytics platforms and curiosity engines that empower users to explore data independently and intuitively. Ensures continued support and enhancement of traditional BI tools, including dashboards and reports, to meet operational and strategic needs. A strong understanding of hospital and health system operations is essential to ensure BI strategies are aligned with clinical workflows, financial models, regulatory requirements, and patient care priorities. The role also plays a key part in data governance, ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and usability of enterprise data assets. Responsibilities
Leads development of analytical models for strategic service planning and supports budgeting, recruitment, inventory, marketing, and costing projects. Develops analytics using various platforms to support management decision making and promotes adoption of advanced analytics technologies within Memorial's BI platform. Manages BI staff to ensure information is fulfilled accurately and timely; coaches, motivates, and trains staff to perform at a high level; prioritizes projects and supports multiple customers and departments. Develops and maintains BI data, researches and compiles market data to provide insights and benchmarks, and integrates external data sources into data-marts. Assists with all aspects of the BI development lifecycle, including data integration, extraction, and reporting. Administers BI security access, trains end users, and organizes infrastructure for effective deployment; manages customer relationships and ensures deadlines are met. Ensures data quality, accessibility, and usability across enterprise data assets and supports governance efforts. Education and Certification Requirements

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of finance, accounting, market analytics, predictive analytics modeling, Tableau, and other BI tools. Required Work Experience: Ten (10) years of relevant experience, including seven (7) years of supervisory experience.
