Job Summary

The Manager of Continuous Improvement will work directly with plant and non-plant managers and respective staff to focus on improving current process efficiency, material flow, labor productivity, quality, safety and environmental impact. The position is responsible for contributing knowledge, performing analysis, developing solutions, justifying investment, managing and implementation of projects, integrating systems with processes, providing training, and measuring results. The Manager of Continuous Improvement reports to the Director of Operations. Responsibilities

Lead CPG’s Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) implementation and management across the business in alignment with tk corporate sustainability requirements. Utilize improvement and analysis methods, such as strategic planning, operations research, Value Stream Mapping, Lean, Six Sigma, facility and work cell design, IT systems integration, performance measurement, benchmarking, financial analysis, and cost justification. Conduct and facilitate workouts with plant personnel to understand current processes and challenges, to encourage input and jointly develop solution options, to provide training, and manage change. Support the quality team in problem solving and improvement. Develop and improve work instructions and procedures for all CPG processes in accordance with quality management system best practices. Measure and monitor performance across multiple facilities on a continuous basis to identify improvement opportunities, to maintain process control, and ensure that improvement benefits are realized. Ensure operational performance is communicated to the shop floor employees. Lead CPG 6S+ annual audits and use the platform to provide feedback and action items to help the sites continuously improve. Work with each site to implement improvements to their maintenance programs with the goal of implementing a Total Productive Maintenance mindset at each site. Define and manage multiple operational improvement initiatives concurrently. Effectively manage multiple projects across multiple facilities in the organization. Share best practice documentation, tools and key learning's across the organization. Support the organizations “digital” transformation by contributing to the change in business systems or the development of new systems. Meet all other tkMNA Leadership Competencies. Qualifications

Minimum of 5-10 years of professional level experience with demonstrated success in driving large-scale improvement projects with evidence of increased productivity and cost savings. Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering or Business, or equivalent work experience. Lean experience – a deep understanding of Lean tools and techniques. Functional experience in production planning, inventory management and warehousing, preferably in an SAP ERP environment. Exposure to labor relations and corporate safety programs. Knowledge and management to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AS9100 quality standards. Management of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Ability to lead and direct improvement projects. Group facilitation and trainer/ instructor skills. Aptitude for financial analysis and applying basic financial principles. Strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI and Power Apps. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside of the company. Must be able to work on the warehouse floor on and around heavy machinery. Willingness to travel to and work in all CPG locations across the U.S. Benefits Overview
