Project Director (HVAC)
— A well respected Mechanical contractor is currently seeking a Pre-Construction Manager. This is your chance to become a part of this dynamic team and work towards the mutual success of the project, the company, your co-workers, and yourself. The Opportunity
— As a Pre-Construction Manager you will have the opportunity to use your skills to work on hospitals, laboratories and large industrial projects. You must have a desire for a career in estimating, buy-out, procurement, detailed submittal documentation and an ability to manage others. Responsibilities
Lead project direction for HVAC on hospitals, laboratories and large industrial projects. Engage in estimating, buy-out, procurement, and detailed submittal documentation. Manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project success. Qualifications
5+ years' experience in HVAC/MEP/Mechanical Commercial Industrial and Institutional Construction with a background in plumbing and advanced plumbing systems. Past project size should exceed $5 million. Experience in monitoring production and controlling costs. Familiar with management controls (schedules, cost control, procurement, quality and safety) during project execution. Past experience as a crafts person in the mechanical trades; professional licensing is a plus. Desired Requirements
Experience managing others. 5-15+ years in HVAC/MEP/Mechanical Commercial Industrial and Institutional Construction with a background in mechanical process piping and advanced plumbing systems. Dedicated, self-motivated with good verbal and people skills. Demonstrated stable work history and experience estimating in a hard bid market. Ability to develop accurate estimates from schematic design documents. Able to prioritize and work independently. Willing to work all hours and schedules as assigned. Benefits
