Compliance Analyst Level V with Security Clearance Solutions Through Innovative Technologies, Inc. (STI-TEC) specializes in the delivery of professional business and information management services. This position is a senior advisory role focused on foreign policy issues and national security implications of administrative compliance investigations and defense trade activities under the AECA/ITAR. Essential Job Functions

Provide subject matter expertise, policy recommendations, and leadership for junior staff, and develop and execute special projects. Coordinate with Directorate offices, regional and functional bureaus, law enforcement agencies, and the SBU. Engage with the Intelligence Community, defense industry, and foreign government representatives on defense trade compliance. Review information submitted by registrants to meet requirements related to criminal violations or indictments, foreign ownership and control, and notices of changes. Advise senior management and law enforcement on foreign policy issues and national security implications of administrative compliance investigations and registration issues in defense trade. Oversee ITAR registration for exporters, manufacturers, and brokers; review submissions related to criminal violations, foreign ownership, control, and changes; facilitate reviews of mergers and acquisitions involving registrants. Manage administrative compliance cases, enforcement procedures, investigations, and remedies, including coordination with Federal agencies and preparation of consent agreements. Support criminal investigations and prosecutions conducted by law enforcement agencies; maintain Watch List databases to identify entities of concern and support foreign policy implementation via arms export licensing. Develop and maintain lists of parties debarred or ineligible to export defense articles and services; notify stakeholders of denial policies or debarments as applicable. Engage with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) process and interpret regulatory material to advise on AECA/ITAR compliance; propose revisions to authorities for clarity and effectiveness. Ensure cases involving possible AECA/ITAR violations are referred to law enforcement and documented; respond to inquiries from law enforcement and maintain liaison to promote education on U.S. export laws. Coordinate with Customs and Border Protection on inspections, seizures, and detentions; liaise with interagency non-proliferation and export control communities on arms trafficking and proliferation matters. Serve as a point of contact to the Office of Defense Trade Controls Licensing on compliance and enforcement matters, including license suspensions, revocations, denials, and eligibility to participate in defense trade. Monitor trends in registration, brokering, manufacturing, exports, and other activities implicating AECA/ITAR compliance and support remedial actions as needed. Assist in expanding and refining team capabilities and ensure high-quality deliverables; align plans and operations within DDTC to prevent violations and support enforcement where necessary. Provide expertise on special projects and advise on foreign policy and national security implications of compliance matters. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with over ten years of industry or government experience in ITAR compliance or enforcement of AECA/ITAR. Expert level knowledge of ITAR and in-depth knowledge of the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls’ goals and priorities. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to provide writing samples. Ability to establish priorities, manage multiple activities simultaneously, and interact with personnel at all levels. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment. Requires a security clearance of Secret, with the ability to obtain Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI as requested by the COR. Salary, Benefits & Travel

Target Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000.
