Program Director (New Program) role at Urban Pathways. Base pay range
$90,237.65/yr - $121,820.84/yr The salary range is based on factors including experience, education, certifications, and skills. Hybrid: 4 days in office/1 day remote. Job Summary
Reporting to the Deputy Executive Director, the Program Director ensures that service delivery and program operations meet contractual standards and client needs safely and effectively. The role oversees clinical and operational staff and promotes an equitable and inclusive anti-racist organizational culture. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Program/Facilities: Develops, implements, assesses, and evaluates program policies and procedures; ensures performance goals are met; collaborates with the Director of Social Services/Social Services Supervisor and Director of Operations. Ensures program compliance with Urban Pathways, funding, regulatory requirements; supervises staff and provides ongoing supervision and issue resolution. Provides leadership to social service and operations teams; oversees services and programs to meet goals; collaborates with HR on recruitment and onboarding; coordinates staff training. Maintains facility compliance with policies, health and safety codes; on-call to address emergencies 24/7. Administrative: Monitors fiscal operations and develops annual budgets; ensures compliance with fiscal policies; ensures accurate internal/external reporting; oversees payroll accuracy; assists with proposals and contracts; manages vendor relationships and scheduling; ensures incident reporting compliance. Community Relations: Develops relationships with community services and regulators; represents Urban Pathways at meetings; maintains ties with community boards as needed. Communication: Maintains professional written and verbal communication; leads staff meetings and trainings; responds promptly to inquiries. Qualifications, Education And Experience
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field; LMSW preferred. Five years of experience supporting adults with mental illness and/or multiple challenges, including supervisory/administrative experience. Experience in SRO or residential program settings preferred; familiarity with funding source regulations. Experience with homelessness, mental illness, and substance use populations preferred. Skills & Competencies
Microsoft Office proficiency; strong client relational databases knowledge; excellent communication and crisis intervention skills; ability to work independently and in a team; confidentiality and ethical standards; ability to work with diverse backgrounds; multilingual a plus. Licenses
Valid driver’s license with compliant driving record; valid professional licenses/certifications if applicable. Capabilities
Flexible schedule potentially including weekends/holidays/evenings; physical ability to sit/stand/walk/bend; lift up to 25 lbs; travel via public transportation as needed. Benefits
