– The following position is open in Illinois, United States. Role overview

This role reports to the Manager, Consolidations, and is responsible for compiling, preparing, and reviewing the consolidation of financial data to accurately reflect the company’s financial condition and provide reliable information for decisions by Suntory Holdings Co. and other stakeholders. Responsibilities

Compile, prepare and review the consolidated financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and statement of equity) in accordance with IFRS standards to provide timely and accurate information. Prepare consolidating journal entries (e.g., elimination of intercompany and internal equity activity). Analyze general ledger accounts to ensure they are properly reflected in the financial statements. Manage and monitor closing checklists to ensure all deliverables are met on time. Manage working relationships with foreign entities, including review and summarization of financial data submitted to the Consolidations team by reporting entities. Consolidate and prepare supporting schedules for semi-annual reporting to parent company and quarterly government reports. Develop proficiency in systems such as SAP, EDW and BPC/EPM for routine and ad hoc analysis and verification of close results. Participate in the integration of newly acquired companies and disposition of operations. Collaborate with consultants, external auditors, the parent company, and internal departments (Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Tax). Potential to participate in and lead special projects, including planning/implementation and post-implementation review. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline; CPA is a plus. One to two years of related experience. Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards. Knowledge of SAP and EPM reporting systems is a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Salary and benefits

Salary range in Chicago, Illinois is $65,000–$70,000 per year, with eligibility for an annual bonus, 401(k) match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits.
