Position : Manager of Corporate Accounting Location : Chicago, IL, United States Salary : $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Cash flow budgeting and forecasting: delivery of consolidated mid-term plan, monthly budget, latest estimates (LE) and S&OP; facilitate regional deliverables and coordinate with corporate and regional teams; obtain regional assumptions of DSOs, DPOs and other inputs; lead regional discussions on cash flow forecast and budget methodology with version control. Cash flow results: report actuals in management view (regional and consolidated) monthly; support staff presentations explaining variances; complete prior year comparables and explain changes due to FX or non-recurring items; report actuals in statutory view semi-annually; review rollforwards for completeness and accuracy. Cash flow presentation and reporting: manage deliverables to parent company and ELT (Hyperion submissions, board decks); drive process improvements for cash flow accuracy; serve as main point of contact for inquiries from FP&A, parent company, auditors, internal and external stakeholders; research and lead technical discussions on cash flow treatments of complex transactions; manage regional cash flow publication workbooks. Corporate accounting and ledger ownership: manage monthly close and corporate accounting tasks such as lease accounting and derivatives accounting. Consolidation support: prepare monthly and semi-annual schedules and reports to parent company; assist regional accounting teams with analysis and resolution of monthly reporting issues; assist with audits of financial statements and semi-annual reporting package. Other: develop and maintain relationships with Regional Controllers and Global Business Services; oversee staff preparation of monthly and quarterly financial workpapers; support ad hoc reporting requests including government reports. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in accounting CPA designation preferred Five plus years of experience with public accounting and/or companies of similar size Leadership experience with growing accounting/finance teams in rapid growth, fast-paced environments Ability to work effectively with internal staff, senior leadership, external partners, directors, tax and legal advisors Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards Knowledge of SAP and EPM reporting systems is a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, including key controls, remediation activities, and internal controls testing Salary Range : The salary range for this role, based in Chicago, Illinois is $110k-120k, plus annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The range may vary based on location, experience, and skillset.
