Store Manager role at Circle K. Location: Northern Tier BU - Region 03 - Market 09: 10909 Radisson Road NE, Blaine, Minnesota 55449. Shift availability: Flexible. Job type: Full time. Responsibilities
Recruit, hire and train employees to deliver excellent customer service. Develop, manage and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean, stocked, organized and maintained to Company standards. Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisors. Schedule employees to maximize customer service and maintain site image within Company guidelines. Apply non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and terminating employees. Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner. Promote a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community. Prepare ongoing performance appraisals for all employees and provide constructive feedback. Train employees to ensure customer service, site image and marketing execution meet Company standards. Train all employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness. Ensure timely and accurate communication with all site staff and the Market Manager. Evaluate and develop action plans to meet site objectives; organize and maintain site files and manuals. Supervise store staff to ensure required reports are completed accurately and on time. Ensure merchandise is stocked, attractively displayed and correctly priced. Ensure employment posters and notices are accessible to all employees. Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize sales and net profits; budget and forecast P&L lines; safeguard and account for all money handled. Perform other financial analyses as needed. Operate primarily indoors with occasional outdoor duties (e.g., cleaning parking lots, gas pumps); be prepared for occasional cold temperatures in walk-in coolers/freezers; manage noise exposure as appropriate. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience in retail sales preferred. Ability to supervise and train employees in equipment, tools and materials described in CSR/ASM roles. Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in CSR/ASM roles. Ability to use a computer for analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, and other store operations. Valid driver’s license and transportation to/from bank and corporate meetings. Ability to communicate (oral and written) in English. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Working Conditions
Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor duties; exposure to occasional cold temperatures and noise; minimal supervision and direction.
