This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Manager, located in Miami, FL. The Tax Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including tax planning, tax compliance, tax preparation, and staying updated on tax law. The role involves managing client relationships, providing advisory services, and ensuring clients\' tax filings are accurate and timely. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA certification preferred Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience in Tax Proficient with CCH ProSystem Tax (Preferred but not required), QuickBooks, Excel, MS Office Experience with the preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns Understanding of relevant tax legislation and tax planning (plus but not required) Experience in Tax Planning and Tax Compliance Proficiency in Tax Preparation and understanding of Tax Law Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and client management abilities Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL Key Responsibilities
Oversee a diverse book of tax clients, delivering services customized to their unique financial circumstances. Leverage proficiency in accounting platforms, tax systems, and other digital tools to improve efficiency, simplify processes, and elevate client outcomes. Monitor adherence to evolving tax and accounting regulations, while incorporating industry standards and emerging best practices. Act as the main liaison for clients and preparers, addressing tax and accounting concerns, clarifying issues, and providing practical solutions. Apply established tax laws and accounting frameworks in engagements to ensure accuracy, consistency, and client confidence. Supervise multiple engagement teams simultaneously, guiding workflows and ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met. Coordinate and manage tax projects across varied sectors, delegating responsibilities to preparers as appropriate. Partner with clients directly to deliver proactive tax planning, advisory insights, and compliance strategies. Conduct initial and advanced reviews of intricate tax filings to verify accuracy and completeness. Maintain awareness of the strengths, qualifications, and progress of tax associates under supervision. Perform detailed reviews of engagement files, work papers, and related documentation for technical accuracy. Prepare sophisticated tax returns with precision, ensuring timeliness and compliance. Assign projects to staff members, offering guidance and oversight to ensure quality expectations are met. Meet established benchmarks for productivity, efficiency, and billable targets. Benefits
