Overview Base pay range: $250,000.00/yr - $350,000.00/yr

Key responsibilities

Lead all financial operations for a $15-18M EBITDA business serving industrial clients across multiple regions.

Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support rapid growth and margin expansion.

Oversee integration of add-on acquisitions and optimize performance across field-based, labor-intensive service operations.

Partner closely with the CEO, private equity sponsor, and Board of Directors to drive financial transparency and alignment with investor goals.

Transition from an interim CFO structure to a permanent, institutional-grade finance function.

Lead the vetting and implementation of a new ERP system, upgrading from QuickBooks to a scalable platform.

Enhance financial controls, audit readiness, and reporting processes to support long-term growth and exit readiness.

Candidate profile We seek a pragmatic, high-energy financial leader who thrives in hands-on, entrepreneurial environments while bringing the discipline of institutional private equity governance. The ideal candidate is execution-oriented, operationally fluent, and likely brings the following experience:

Business Model:

Industrial services, environmental services, or related

Functional:

Proven CFO or senior finance executive with full ownership of accounting, FP&A, treasury, audit, and M&A integration

Private Equity:

Required. Experience working within PE-backed businesses, including direct Board interaction

Exit Experience:

Preferable to have demonstrated success preparing and leading a business through a liquidity event or recapitalization

M&A:

Proven ability to evaluate, diligence, execute, and integrate add-on acquisitions

ERP:

Experience leading a finance systems upgrade or full ERP implementation

Leveraged Finance:

Skilled in managing liquidity, debt covenants, and growth under a leveraged structure

Tenure:

15+ years of progressive financial leadership in growth or transformation settings

Leadership:

Authentic, grounded, and team-oriented executive who can mentor a lean team and instill a culture of accountability and performance
