Position Overview The

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

will serve as a

strategic, operational, and hands-on financial leader , partnering with the CEO, Board, and private equity sponsor to drive growth, profitability, and performance. This role requires an executive who can operate at both the strategic level—shaping the company’s financial roadmap—and the tactical level—overseeing day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate has prior experience leading finance within a

construction, specialty trades, or field services environment , understands project accounting and WIP management, and has successfully navigated the private-equity lifecycle from acquisition through exit. Key Responsibilities

Lead all financial functions, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, and risk management. Partner with the CEO and PE sponsor to develop and execute the company’s long-term growth and value-creation strategy. Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team aligned with company objectives. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analytics across multiple business units and job sites. Implement financial systems, tools, and processes to improve accuracy, transparency, and scalability. Manage working capital and cash flow, ensuring efficient use of capital across projects. Oversee project-level and consolidated reporting, including margin analysis, cost-to-complete tracking, and WIP schedules. Partner with operations leadership to drive accountability, improve field performance, and optimize job profitability. Lead due diligence, modeling, and integration efforts for acquisitions and other growth initiatives. Maintain GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, and audit readiness. Serve as a key financial liaison to lenders, investors, and external partners. Qualifications

15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including senior leadership roles. Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in

construction, contracting, or services-based industries . Strong understanding of

job-costing, WIP, percentage-of-completion accounting, and project forecasting . Prior experience in a

private equity–backed environment , ideally with a successful exit or recapitalization. Hands-on leader with a track record of building teams and scaling financial operations. Experience with ERP systems commonly used in construction and field services (e.g., Viewpoint, CMiC, Sage, NetSuite, or similar). Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred. Compensation & Structure

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience. Annual performance-based bonus tied to EBITDA and operational metrics. Meaningful equity participation aligned with company growth and value creation.
