ACUTE CARE FLOAT POOL UNIT:

90% FTE, Nights

INPATIENT TRAUMA REHABILITATION UNIT:

90% FTE, Days

MEDICINE/SURGICAL/TELEMETRY UNIT:

90% FTE, Nights

MEDICINE/TELEMETRY UNIT:

60% FTE, Days

NEUROSCIENCE ACUTE CARE UNIT:

90% FTE, Days

PSYCH ICU:

90% FTE, Days

TRAUMA/GENERAL SURGERY UNIT:

90% FTE, Days

TRAUMA/ORTHOPEDICS UNIT:

60% FTE, Nights

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse

Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating

Maintain a safe environment of care

Patient transportation

Prepare patients for surgery

Perform non-invasive lab procedures

Transport equipment and supplies

Assist with treatments

Perform various clerical tasks

Take vital signs

REQUIREMENTS

Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State (please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume)

High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting; OR equivalent education/experience.

Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card by start date

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$58,788.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$84,168.00 annual

Other Compensation:

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible new part-time and full-time employees joining UW Medicine Evening: $1.50/hour Night: $2.25/hour Weekend: $1.50/hour
