Overview
KPMG is seeking an Associate Director, Business Intelligence to join our Global Business Services organization. The role focuses on leading the development and execution of GBS's data strategy, unifying delivery center data infrastructures and processes for integrity, consistency, and compliance, and delivering client-facing, self-service insights.
Responsibilities
Apply advanced knowledge of business intelligence to lead development and execution of GBS's data strategy, including unification of Delivery Center data infrastructures and processes for integrity, consistency, and compliance.
Lead assessment and remediation of GBS data quality and maturity of data availability; contribute to tactical plans and monitor progress with focus on execution of work product and tactical planning.
Work autonomously, leading programs, projects or processes with minimal supervision; independently make decisions and identify nuanced situations requiring senior leader consultation; lead creation and evolution of a GBS Insights Engine to house operational, financial, and workforce data, transforming it into a client-facing, self-service tool.
Lead identification of data metrics, KPIs, and KPOs for GBS reporting; oversee development of visualizations to ensure data is easy to consume and visualizations align with best practices; partner with stakeholders to gather feedback and requirements; create and maintain a backlog of requests.
Lead "so what" analysis of data to guide GBS, Delivery Center, and Client leadership; provide focus areas, translate insights into action and build executive presentations including strategic insights; equip Account Management, Service Management, and CI Leaders with compelling data for QBRs, client conversations, and transformation roadmaps.
Oversee a team of data engineers, analysts, and dashboard developers, ensuring high-quality delivery; provide active coaching, mentoring and knowledge-sharing with junior staff; manage and review team members' work product.
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum eight years of recent experience in automation, artificial intelligence, and enterprise technology implementations or more than five years of consulting/compex transformation projects, preferably in a Fortune 500; experience in technology and innovation and in the consulting industry (Big 4 preferred); prior experience leading technology implementation initiatives.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
Experience leading data strategy, performance reporting, and strategic insights across a global business services environment; proven ability to lead data strategy and infrastructure initiatives across complex delivery environments; ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and make concrete decisions.
Strong experience in performance reporting, dashboard development, and data visualization; proven ability to translate data into strategic insights and executive-level presentations.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving professional development.
Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills; ability to lead in a customer-service driven environment and influence organizational priorities; experience developing resource plans and structures.
