Guaranteed Hours:
40 hours per week
Shift:
8-hour variable day shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM)
On-Call:
6-8 weeknight calls and 1-2 weekend calls per contract; 30-minute response time required
Float:
May float to nearby healthcare facilities as needed
Estimated Weekly Salary:
$2,330 - $2,500
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Wisconsin RN license (Registered Nurse)
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Minimum 5 years of Operating Room RN experience, including at least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
Experience in large hospital settings (20+ ORs) and Trauma Level II required
Davinci Robotic surgery experience required
Ability to circulate required; scrub nurse experience preferred
Epic electronic charting experience preferred
Must have own vehicle for on-call responsibilities (rideshare not permitted)
OR RN Responsibilities
Circulate and scrub (preferred) in a high-volume operating room environment, managing 40-60 surgical cases per day
Deliver patient care across multiple specialties: General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, GI (experience in all is a plus)
Respond promptly to on-call duties within a 30-minute response window
Float to affiliated healthcare facilities in the Wausau area as needed
Perform downtime tasks and provide comprehensive support to the surgical team
Demonstrate adaptability, resilience, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic (preferred)
