We are seeking an Asset Manager to safeguard the financial and physical health of a 1,200-unit portfolio of affordable housing and commercial real estate. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, this role is critical to ensuring long-term financial stability, operational efficiency, and sustainability across the portfolio.
Asset Manager Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an annual asset management plan to maintain financial and operational goals.
Review monthly financials, property conditions, and compliance reports to identify risks and opportunities.
Oversee capital improvement projects, energy initiatives, and sustainability efforts.
Manage commercial leasing and evaluate property management contracts.
Lead monthly performance reviews with management companies and collaborate with internal teams on cash flow, refinancing, and compliance.
Prepare portfolio performance reports for senior leadership.
Mentor and support staff development, ensuring accountability and growth.
Asset Manager Qualifications:
57 years of experience in asset management, property management, or related fields.
Strong understanding of real estate finance, LIHTC, and affordable housing programs.
Excellent financial analysis, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret legal agreements and financial projections.
Commitment to racial equity, inclusion, and community development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and database tools.

Experience with both residential and commercial properties. ?Preferred:
CHAM certification, or a Masters degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field. ?Preferred:
