Undisclosed Description The General Manager for Restaurant Operations provides overall leadership and direct supervision of restaurant activities to ensure that the establishment meets or exceeds its annual operational goals. Key responsibilities include: Delivering exceptional customer service Maintaining company standards for product quality and restaurant facilities Supervising food safety and operational procedures Managing financial aspects to achieve optimal profit margins Recruiting, training, and motivating staff In this hands-on role, the General Manager actively trains employees, responds to customer service requests, and models the right behaviors within the restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Satisfaction/Product Quality Ensures prompt and accurate service with positive guest relations while meeting quality standards. Fosters a customer-centric culture by modeling effective resolution of customer issues. Tracks and addresses customer complaints to enhance service delivery. Ensures compliance with food safety standards. Financial Management Develops and implements the restaurant’s annual operating plan. Continuously analyzes sales, labor, and inventory data to meet financial targets. Mentors team members on financial principles and profitability strategies. Manages vendor relationships and develops store CAPEX requests. Operational Excellence Maintains facilities and equipment to company standards. Daily oversight of inventory and food preparation to ensure compliance with standards. Sets and monitors restaurant speed of service (SWS) performance goals. Oversees team scheduling, optimizing shifts for efficiency. Human Resources Management Leads restaurant HR activities, including hiring and performance management. Facilitates training programs and supports the development of Shift Managers and Assistant General Managers. Ensures a fair and equitable work environment, adhering to legal and company standards.
