Title: Project Manager
Primary Function:
Provides overall project management duties to one or more construction projects and serves as the primary office contact regarding those projects, with responsibility for all aspects of construction from pre-construction through post-construction.
Typical Duties:
Work closely with Project Superintendent or other jobsite supervisor.
Communicate with the Owner, Architect/Engineer, Contractors, and Suppliers.
Develop and manage project progress schedule.
Monitor and control job costs.
Coordinate the work of Contractors with expedited material deliveries.
Preparate trade contracts, subcontracts and purchase order agreements.
Check and process shop drawings and product data submittals.
Administers change management system including determining any cost and schedule impact related to changes in the work.
Implement the quality assurance program and sustainable construction procedures.
Implement and enforce Miller-Davis Company’s Safety Program and safety regulations.
Complete projects within time, cost and quality requirements.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
College Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related curricula.
Prior construction experience including at least three years as a Project Manager.
Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint).
Certifications : LEED Accredited Professional or LEED Green Associate, OSHA 10
Problem solving and leadership skills.
