The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the Project Management Team with the daily management and execution of the construction process for multiple and large, complex projects. Working with the DAVIS Superintendent, this role manages, supervises, coordinates and ensures the successful completion of construction projects to meet time and cost objectives with respect to safety, quality, contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, subcontracting and contract administration. The position also involves active involvement in preconstruction efforts prior to or overlapping with construction. Responsibilities

Enforce the DAVIS Safety program in accordance with DAVIS Policies and Processes, local, state, and federal laws to include all subcontractors Prompt resolution of issues documented within safety reports; ensure safety walks occur regularly Obtain and maintain current certifications for First Aid, CPR and OSHA Provide operational support in project pre-construction services and bidding, including preparing cost estimates, scopes of work, preliminary schedule and site logistics Lead and/or participate in the development of DAVIS Bid or GMP packages, including trade scopes, bidding, scheduling, and bid clarifications for senior staff review Review owner contract terms to understand risks and discuss with senior team Develop and execute project buy-out strategy and project budget Negotiate and issue subcontract agreements, purchase orders, RFIs, change orders, and schedule management Develop and maintain the detailed project construction schedule in coordination with the Superintendent, subcontractors and suppliers Prepare, track and control construction schedule and costs to achieve on-time, within-budget completion Lead change proposals, negotiate and issue change orders; adjust budget as needed Apply subcontract terms appropriately and manage related documents (contracts, insurance, bonds) Lead project meetings and distribute minutes; ensure documentation and follow-up Review submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs in coordination with contract documents Oversee sustainability or LEED tracking Prepare and oversee Project Status Reports, including safety, cost, schedule, risk, and project photos Review and code subcontractor and vendor invoices Collaborate with the DAVIS Superintendent on site logistics and sequencing diagrams; ensure documentation using proper software Manage monthly owner invoicing, including subcontractor and material invoicing reviews and budget management Lead project closeout process, including punch lists and closeout documentation Resolve financial closeout issues and disputes as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field or equivalent construction experience Experience with commercial building construction Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering and construction project management, including safety standards Some sustainable building experience (LEED) preferred Ability to understand and learn technical systems, show initiative, motivation, and commitment Ability to manage and mentor team members Negotiation of subcontract terms and conditions Strong decision making, research and analytical problem solving skills Time management and the ability to organize multiple tasks and projects Strong verbal and written communication skills MS Office experience; project management software experience (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) First Aid, CPR, and OSHA 30-hour certifications Minimum of seven (7) years construction experience; general contracting experience LEED certification desired Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is

$134,000.00 - $180,000.00 . DAVIS offers a competitive total compensation package including a 100% employer-paid health care plan (to include family), life insurance, disability benefits, annual incentive bonus, paid time off and holidays, 401(k), ESOP, FSAs, and additional benefits such as EAP, on-site fitness center, and parental leave.
