The Role
The Area Director of Restaurants will oversee a diverse portfolio of restaurant and boutique hotel operations in the Western Carolinas. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in multi-unit restaurant and boutique hotel management, capable of driving operational excellence while nurturing a culture of genuine hospitality.
You will play a pivotal role in both new restaurant openings and supporting established locations, ensuring consistency, quality, and profitability across all units.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a portfolio of award-winning restaurants and boutique hotels, delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Foster a positive, growth-oriented culture that encourages teamwork and professional development.
- Partner with chefs, general managers, and operations teams to maintain brand standards and operational excellence.
- Drive profitability through effective cost management, strategic planning, and performance analysis.
- Champion local sourcing initiatives and cultivate strong vendor and community relationships.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for growth, innovation, and guest satisfaction.
- Actively engage in community involvement and philanthropic efforts to strengthen local connections.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a multi-unit Hotel General Manager or Restaurant General Manager.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue and performance goals.
- Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of diverse culinary concepts and emerging trends.
- Proven ability to balance creativity with operational discipline.
