We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a growing team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves managing various accounting and administrative tasks to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.


  • Cash Receipts Management: Prepare deposits, record transactions in the accounting system, and generate daily bank account reports.
  • Credit Card Reconciliation: Verify daily credit card transactions for accuracy.
  • Payment Applications: Apply payments to invoices and maintain organized records.
  • Accounts Payable Tasks: Complete data entry and provide backup support for weekly check processing.
  • Contribution Reconciliation: Process and reconcile contributions and related transactions.
  • General Ledger Matching: Align general ledger activities with reports or external databases for accuracy.
  • Audit Support: Assist with preparing workpapers and documentation for annual audits.
  • Administrative Assistance: Help Finance managers with office supply orders and equipment maintenance.


• Associate's degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting-related position.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial database systems such as GP Dynamics.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

• General administrative skills to support team operations.

• Detail-oriented demeanor and ability to maintain a positive image in the workplace.
