Summary:
Our client is seeking a driven and hands-on Sales Lead to oversee and grow their Columbia market. This position offers the opportunity to lead a motivated team, manage key accounts, and drive growth across a high-potential territory. This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader with a background in construction materials, landscaping supply, or related industries who thrives on developing people, building customer relationships, and delivering results.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of five (2 Sales Representatives and 3 Customer Service Representatives)
- Manage a book of 15–25 accounts, serving as a key point of contact for client needs
- Drive new business development across the Midlands region
- Hold the team accountable to established performance metrics while supporting their growth
- Build and strengthen relationships with a mix of commercial and residential builder accounts
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Sales Lead or Sales Manager role
- Strong background in construction materials, landscaping/site supply, or a related industry
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, motivate teams, and drive revenue
- Understanding of logistics and inventory flow is a plus
- A hands-on leader who is eager to grow a book of business while developing a team
Compensation
- Base salary of $65,000
- Year 1 target earnings: ~$90,000
- Year 2 potential: $120,000–$130,000+ (as the territory ramps)
