Project Manager Chicago, IL | Heavy Civil Contractor | Project Leadership Role Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 We’re seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee and coordinate major construction projects in the greater Chicago area. This is a key leadership role managing everything from scheduling to subcontractor coordination on high-impact infrastructure work. What You’ll Be Doing: • Lead administration and execution of one or more highway and bridge construction projects • Develop and manage detailed project schedules and deliverables • Coordinate closely with field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and owner representatives • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget • Oversee procurement, documentation, and communication across the project lifecycle Who We’re Looking For: • Proven experience managing heavy civil projects (bridge and/or highway required) • Strong understanding of construction schedules, logistics, and resource management • Excellent coordination and communication skills with field and office teams • Ability to lead subcontractors and suppliers toward common project goals • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is a plus If you’re an experienced Project Manager ready to take ownership of complex public works projects with a leading contractor, we’d love to connect.
