Senior Interior Architect / Project Manager | Hospitality, F&B, Retail, Senior Living

Our client, a global design studio with an award-winning portfolio, is seeking a Senior Interior Architect / Project Manager to lead both the design and technical development of hospitality, F&B, retail, and senior living projects. This role combines creative leadership with strong project management skills — ensuring design excellence, financial performance, and on-time delivery from concept through construction.

The ideal candidate is not only a design leader but also a business -minded project manager who understands how to make a project profitable, oversee budgets and deliverables, and manage projects holistically.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and technical development of hospitality, F&B, retail, and senior living projects
  • Translate design concepts into cohesive architectural solutions and detailed documentation
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and overall financial performance
  • Create construction drawings, millwork details, and design presentations
  • Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors to maintain design integrity
  • Manage client relationships and project communications
  • Mentor and oversee junior designers and architectural staff

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in architecture or interior architecture, with a focus on hospitality, F&B, or retail
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and profitability
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, universal access guidelines, and building systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and 3D modeling/rendering software (SketchUp, Rhino, V-Ray, etc.); Revit experience is a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
  • Based in the Tri-State area with U.S. work eligibility

Compensation & Benefits
