3x12-hour day shifts (7:00am – 7:00pm), every other weekend, holiday rotation required

$1570–$1680 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU nursing experience required
Strong cardiac care experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Active South Carolina RN license or Compact nursing license (must be in hand prior to start)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Experience with Epic charting preferred
Willingness to float within critical care/intermediate step-down units
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
First-time travel nurses not accepted
CVICU Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the CVICU
Manage post open-heart surgery patients and those requiring advanced cardiac support
Assist with procedures: chest tube insertion/removal, arterial line management, ECMO, IABP, Impella, CRRT, and temporary pacers
Interpret arterial blood gases, dysrhythmias, and manage cardiac drips and vasoactive medications
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory services and phlebotomy
Float to similar critical care units as needed
Participate in holiday and weekend rotations
Follow infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions
