Travel Nursing Job Details Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel)

Healthcare Setting:

Shift:

Days, Monday – Friday, 06:15 – 14:45

On Call:

3 weeknights/week & 1 weekend every 4th or 5th week (holiday rotation included)

Unit Details:

4 beds + 1 suite; Average 10-15 surgical cases/day

Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Iowa RN license required

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in same day surgery, pre/post op, operating room (OR), and/or PACU

EPIC EMR experience (electronic medical records) required

First-time travel nurses accepted (must have OR and PACU experience)

One supervisory performance evaluation/reference from the past 2 years

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Deliver pre-operative and post-operative patient assessment and monitoring

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent surgical needs

Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR

Follow safety protocols and infection control standards

Support and mentor fellow nursing staff
