Job Overview:
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle talent acquisition efforts for their target positions at Fiber Global. This includes collaborating with the hiring managers to understand the business and specific needs of the open positions, developing sourcing and recruiting plans of where and how to find the best talent, developing an effective filtering and screening process, managing the onsite and virtual interview processes, working with the leadership team on making offers, and preparing the onboarding process in collaboration with HR and the hiring managers. Ensuring a positive candidate experience and that the process is conducted in a timely and compliant manner is essential. Technical Recruiters are expected to understand the technical functions of the operations, specifically around manufacturing and engineering, to find the best fit candidates for the needs of the business. The Technical Recruiter will also be involved in periodically recruiting non-technical talent.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead full-cycle talent acquisition including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offering, and pre-onboarding processes.
Collaborate with the hiring managers to understand how the business operates to define the specific talent needed for open positions. Technical Recruiters are expected to understand the technical functions of the operations, specifically around manufacturing and engineering, to find the best fit candidates for the needs of the business.
Develop sourcing and recruiting plans of how and where to find the best talent.
Ensure the recruitment process is handled in a timely manner, specifically working with a strong sense of urgency when sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, gathering feedback, and closing offers.
Develop and maintain a regular communication flow with all stakeholders.
Develop relevant KPI tracking mechanisms to understand the effectiveness of the recruiting process.
Identify gaps or opportunities in the recruiting process and implement solutions.
Support employee referral programs in collaboration with HR.
Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
Manage job postings across all recruiting and job posting platforms.
Ensure all information, processes, procedures, and recruiting-related activities are handled compliantly and in alignment with company policy, local and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.
At least 3 years of applicable recruiting experience for technical positions, such as engineers or manufacturing technicians, required.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, such as engineering or manufacturing operations is a plus.
Direct experience in an engineering or manufacturing operations position is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with candidates, company leadership, and all relevant stakeholders.
Experience supporting non-exempt hourly and exempt salaried populations.
Strong knowledge of HR principles.
Strong knowledge of applicable local and federal laws, rules, and regulations related to recruiting.
General knowledge of production principles and manufacturing environments.
Must be willing to periodically work schedules aligned with manufacturing to support leaders on applicable shifts.
All other knowledge, skills, and abilities that are reasonably aligned with this role, such as strong project management and organizational skills, time management skills, problem solving skills, ability to use necessary computer software, etc.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Periods of working on feet while interacting with the workforce.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required for safety.
