North Perry Avenue Water District is located in Bremerton, Washington. We are accepting applications fora full-time Executive Assistant. We are in search of a committed, enthusiastic, and motivated self-starter to join our team.
JOB SUMMARY:
Comprehensive executive, confidential, and professional administrative support to the General Manager and the district management team. Performs a variety of administrative duties as noted below.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the Office Supervisor and does not supervise other positions. Coordinates with the General Manager and Supervisors that are part of the management team.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Administrative and Executive Support
• Communicates with, and provides administrative support to, the General Manager and district
management team;
• Prepares and reviews correspondence and documents for the General Manager and other
departments as needed;
• Works independently on projects, managing time, planning, and organizing workflow with
frequent changes under minimal supervision;
• Provides administrative support for other Administrative staff;
• Provides Notary Services for District documents;
• Serves as the wellness committee chair and coordinates employee recognition;
• Plans, coordinates, organizes, or assists with meetings, training, travel arrangements, special
events or other District activities;
• Updates and maintains content on the District’s website.
Board and Records Management
• Coordinates and attends Board of Commissioners meetings;
• Prepares agendas, packets, notices, minutes and resolutions for Board of Commissioner meetings;
takes, prepares, distributes, and maintains meeting minutes;
• Serves as custodian of the District’s official records;
• Coordinates development of the Annual Consumer Confidence Report;
• Analyzes, processes, and coordinates responses to public record requests related to District
business in compliance with state law.
Customer Service and Compliance
• Maintain district Cross Connection program through communications with customers,
creating monthly notifications and processing disconnect notices when necessary;
• Process Customer refund checks as needed;
• Manages utility-related administrative tasks and documentation workflows, including water
data tracking, account setup records, cleansing reports, and invoicing for damages;
• Coordinates with external providers to report service issues (e.g., streetlight outages) and
maintains organized archives of billing notices and operational samples to support compliance,
accuracy, and service continuity;
• Responsible for district water sample collection.
Operations, Inventory, and Asset Tracking
• Provides support to the District’s developer extension process and responsible for monitoring developer extension funds;
• Responsible for district inventory processing, asset management and asset tracking.
General Duties
• Operation of district vehicle as scheduled or required;
• Other duties as required or assigned.

with diligence;
• Maintain attention to timelines, details and accuracy;
• Safety rules, regulations, and procedures necessary to maintain a safe work environment;
• Customer service techniques, standards protocols and telephone etiquette;
• Maintaining filing systems which may include confidential personnelrecords;
• Grammar, spelling, and punctuation; letter and legal document formatting; and
• Computer and applicable software related to required job duties.
Experience/Education:
Any combination of experience and education that provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability
necessary to perform the functions of the position.
A typical way to obtain the requisite knowledge, skill, and ability would be at least five years of experience in executive administrative support, preferably in a municipal and/or utility setting.
Licensing Requirements:
• Washington State Notary Public or ability to obtain within six months of employment; and
• Washington State Driver's License or ability to obtain within six months of employment
Work Environment:
Duties are performed primarily in an office environment with sitting for prolonged periods of time, utilizing standard office equipment. The work hours may be adjusted to meet requirements of the District. The district works a 4/10 work schedule, Monday through Thursday 6:30 am – 5:00 pm

Physical Demands:

Candidate for position must comply with District policies, possess a valid WA DL and insurance,
ability to wear a phone headset, to sit or stand for extended periods and to bend or kneel and lift to 20
pounds.
