Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location (city, state): Hybrid in Bellevue, WA

Compensation: $130k-$170k / year

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of Accounting experience with 5 years of management
  • Experience overseeing AP, AR, Inventory, and Credit
  • Proven experience implementing tools/software and streamlining processes
  • Prior experience at a company with over $500M in revenue and more than 200 employees
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs), Great Plains preferred
  • Good communication skills

Job Description:

  • Lead and support 4 analysts across AP/AR/Credit/Inventory and a Finance Director out of Mexico City
  • Ensure effective performance management, including setting expectations, monitoring KPIs, and addressing performance issues thoughtfully and promptly.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations:
    • Accounts Payable: Manage standard AP processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
    • Inventory: Monitor inventory processes within a distribution model; ensure accurate tracking of high-volume transactions.
    • Accounts Receivable: Supervise cash application processes and timely customer collections.
    • Credit: Set and manage credit limits for customers, ensuring risk mitigation and alignment with company policies.
  • Foster a high-performance team environment by coaching early-career specialists and guiding tenured team members toward process improvements and efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve transactional accuracy, reduce errors, and streamline financial workflows.
  • Use strong financial acumen to support strategic decisions and ensure alignment with broader business goals.
