7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
Hours:

Contract Duration:
13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/12/2026)
Schedule:
Every other weekend, 2-3 holidays, and one 24-hour call shift every 4 weeks
Estimated Weekly Salary Range:
$1680 - $1800
Emergency Room RN Qualifications
Active Georgia or compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma nursing experience required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC certification preferred
Ability to float to ED behavioral health, Pediatric ED, and ED observation units as needed
Previous travel nurse experience preferred
ER RN Responsibilities
Assess and document patient conditions, identifying normal and abnormal findings in emergency care settings
Develop, coordinate, and evaluate individualized care plans for emergency patients and their families
Perform triage using ESI, administer medications, start IVs, collect blood cultures, and insert urinary catheters
Obtain EKGs, monitor patient status, administer blood products, and provide procedural sedation
Respond to emergencies including respiratory distress, code blue, code stroke, code STEMI, trauma, and sepsis cases
Operate emergency department equipment such as Accudose, Cerner (FirstNet), Phillips monitors, ISTATS, and Accucheck glucometer
Adhere to Emergency Department and EDOU policies, protocols, and clinical pathways
Participate in comprehensive orientation and ongoing training, including computer modules and competency checklists
Deliver care for both ED patients and inpatient admission holds as required
