Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Weekend/Holiday:

Every other weekend & every other holiday required

ER RN Qualifications

Active compact or Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience

At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (Required); TNCC, ENCP (Preferred)

Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting system

Skills: Procedural sedation administration (required); ventilated patient care, triage, charge nurse experience (preferred)

Two supervisor references required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER (average 90 visits/day)

Administer emergency medications and blood products

Perform procedural sedation and manage central lines

Initiate IVs, triage patients, and care for ventilated patients

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, and social services

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner

Adhere to isolation precautions and hospital protocols
