Travel Job Description: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Facility: FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital Location: Pinehurst, NC 28374 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights – 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Requirements: Experience: Minimum

2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience

required Previous charge experience:

Preferred Must be competent in:

Vaginal exams Management of second stage of labor Transitioning newborns Triage and EFM monitoring

Certifications: Required:

AWHONN Intermediate BLS (Basic Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Preferred:

AWHONN Advanced STABLE

Skills: Labor and Delivery management IV therapy & phlebotomy Administering blood products Magnesium Sulfate therapy Fetal monitoring (external and internal) Neonatal care and resuscitation Pain management including epidural and opioids Postpartum care including C-section and hemorrhage management Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the organization. Manage laboring patients, including vaginal deliveries and high-risk births. Perform and document patient assessments, monitor vital signs and fetal heart tones. Administer medications including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and antihypertensives. Perform clinical skills including IV therapy, neonatal resuscitation, and EFM/IFM monitoring. Assist in various deliveries including forceps/vacuum extraction and cesarean sections. Support post-partum care including breastfeeding support and education. Float to Postpartum/Mother Baby Unit as needed. About HonorVet Technologies
