Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse – North Carolina or compact state)

BLS, ACLS, EFM, and NRP certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) nursing experience

Proficient in all aspects of LDRP patient care, including circulating C-sections and newborn care

NCC-EFM or RNC-OB certification preferred

Willingness to float within the region as needed

Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nursing requirement)

RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients

Manage high-risk obstetric diagnoses (PPH, diabetes requiring insulin, PROM, placenta previa, and more)

Assist in GYN surgical cases, including hysterectomies

Circulate C-sections and provide newborn care (heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring, lactation support)

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: OB Techs, CNAs, receptionists, charge nurses, case managers, RTs, physicians, pediatricians, and lactation consultants

Document patient care using EPIC EMR and operate advanced equipment (Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, GE Corometrics fetal monitors)

Float to other healthcare facilities within the region as needed, with paid travel time
