About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager to play a critical role in transforming the Wells Fargo Branded Credit Card business. This position sits within the Customer Management team in Branded Cards, where you will have an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by transforming the strategy, credit, marketing, and product capabilities by defining, developing, and implementing customer-facing strategies, best in class capabilities and customer experience solutions. In this role, you will:

Define, develop and execute the strategy and roadmap to drive responsible growth, profitability, and competitive advantage for various parts of Wells Fargo Credit Card

Develop, test, analyze and implement product, credit, and marketing strategies to achieve the financial objective relevant to macro-economic conditions

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels, including preparing and delivering presentations

Define and execute investments in the credit infrastructure across testing, data, modeling, monitoring, execution systems

Define and execute strategies to reduce complexity and increase execution quality through simplification of product features and terms

Be responsible for ensuring all key regulatory and business requirements are met effectively for all implemented ideas

Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including senior leadership

Lead projects by working closely with cross-functional teams (Credit, Marketing, Finance, Tech, Risk, Operations)

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in credit card industry

Experience working across credit card segments, including consumer (full risk spectrum), small business, commercial, and partnerships/co-brands

Deep understanding and application of credit and lending risk management principles

Experience leading and delivering large-scale strategic initiatives, including technology platform integrations and transformations

Strong strategic leadership, capable of setting end-to-end product strategy and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority

Exposure to P&L decision-making and financial impact analysis

Expertise in credit, product, and marketing data and analysis

Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills, grounded in rigorous logic, analysis, market and consumer dynamics, and operational assessments

Strong conceptual thinking and ability to bring clarity in ambiguity and solve complex credit and operational challenges

Prior experience in data science or analytics roles involving projects with data infrastructure (data, platforms, models, monitoring tools)

Demonstrated experience owning and driving agendas across multiple aspects of credit and lending risk (originations, customer management, fraud, collections)

Experience working across multiple lending products, including credit cards, auto loans, and personal loans

Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with a track record of synthesizing complex information into clear recommendations and executive-level presentations

Demonstrated ability to drive results through cross-functional teams, regardless of reporting structure

Job Expectations:

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$139,000.00 - $239,000.00
