Medical Device Quality Inspector

Mon-Thurs 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Fri 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Duration:
6 months.
Summary: Assure materials, activities, processes, and conditions in daily device manufacturing, processing, and packaging meet current GMP standards and comply with applicable procedures. Ensure quality integrity of the product and adherence to company quality systems and medical device regulations.
Essential Functions: Perform one of three Quality department functions: Inspect raw materials to meet production requirements. Conduct in-process inspections of manufacturing products and processes. Review final documentation and shipment packaging for medical devices, subassemblies, and kits.
Assist in Madison Manufacturing documentation control room. Complete documentation of activities, prepare and attach material quality status labeling, and ensure controlled storage and handling of products and labeling. Support Quality through occasional investigations of nonconformance and assist with preventive actions. Perform quality reviews for quarantine releases on non-reportable, non-complaint, RMF-3 internal to an RSC. Competencies:
Highly motivated; able to work independently. Detail-oriented. Comfortable working with computer-based systems daily. Collaborative team member with strong engagement levels. Good interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication. Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in a regulated work environment preferred. Knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations and ISO 13485 for medical device manufacturing. Organizational Relationship/Scope:
Reports to the Quality Control Manager. Accountable for prompt investigative work and detailed reporting. Collaborates across manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to assess nonconforming products and support supplier quality issues. Benefits:
