Job Description Description: The maintenance Mechanic is responsible for keeping the facility operating and repairing machinery and/or equipment. Responsibilities also include the repair of trucks, trailers, building and maintaining mechanical systems and involve the use of a variety of hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities: Identifying and correcting maintenance issues that may cause production downtime. Conduct preventive maintenance of factory machines and other equipment Clean and change air filters on compressors. Maintain Plexus machines, Rhino lining machine and Foam gun and order parts when needed. Detect malfunctions through observation (sound or visual). Run diagnostic tests to ensure machines/system functionality. Perform handyman tasks, such as painting, replacing doors/door handles/locks, repair roof leaks, place rodent traps, assemble furniture and minor carpentry. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Repair broken or faulty machine parts and perform emergency repairs. Repair sprinkle/lawn pipes and maintenance air compressors. Collaborate with contractors and vendors as needed. Participate and support in maintaining our safety program. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license (when required to drive for work) Must have strong problem-solving skills The ability to clearly communicate information and ideas. Ability to operate a sit-down forklift. Must be able to work in a Manufacturing environment which may include liquid and fumes. Must be able to read schematics, basic data tables, handbooks, and technical references 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility Must know how to operate equipment and tools associated with job functions. Must have a working knowledge of 120/208/240 Volt and three phase and single-phase grounded A/C systems. This includes lighting circuits panels, breakers, motors, motor starters, overloads, fixtures, transformers, fuses and other electrical components Experience with motor controls, hydraulics, and lighting controls Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team Daily overtime and/or Saturdays might be required.
