Join to apply for the Sr Sales Specialist- Amazon Connect role at Amazon Web Services (AWS). This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their technology domain, providing business and technical expertise to help customers succeed. Partner teams own strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of key technology and consulting partners to deliver solutions for complex challenges.

Amazon Connect is a fast-growing service in the CCaaS space. This AI-powered cloud contact center enables rapid innovation to improve customer and agent experiences at a lower cost. The Connect Sales Specialist positions Amazon Connect’s impact to technical and business stakeholders with a focus on enterprise sales in related areas.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue in a defined territory with multiple account teams and partners.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets by helping AWS sellers navigate sales cycles and accelerate implementations; originate and close opportunities that drive Amazon Connect revenue.
  • Build deep relationships with customers to understand their business, solutions, and technical needs.
  • Develop and execute an account/territory plan supporting multiple account teams to drive revenue and win goals.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions addressing customer needs.
  • Build, manage, and close a pipeline of Amazon Connect revenue in your territory.
  • Drive business development initiatives in your territory in partnership with the Go To Market Strategy team and Partner Development resources to expand market penetration.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to AWS senior management teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • 5+ years’ experience selling into contact centers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience.
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
