Data Analyst - Project Winter

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizens Only

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Analyst to support Project Winter, a high-impact initiative focused on operational transformation, supplier management, and digital process improvement.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing data, building KPIs and scorecards, and supporting the development of standard work, training materials, and change management strategies.
This role also involves vendor classification, compliance processes, supplier negotiations, and working with source-to-contract systems.

Responsibilities
  • Build reporting solutions to monitor key organizational effectiveness and support efficiency improvement through digital tools.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on sourcing operations performance and project impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, lead, and execute comprehensive data analytics initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline existing data analytic tools within the sourcing operations team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics, project management, and process improvement.
  • Negotiate with suppliers as needed in support of sourcing operations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros).
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Experience with programming languages (Python, R).
  • Background in supplier or vendor management systems.
  • Knowledge of compliance processes and digital procurement tools.
  • Experience in training delivery or change management initiatives.
Additional Information
  • Timekeeping: Worker will utilize Fieldglass for weekly time reporting.
