Heavy Equipment Operator role at FiberTel, LLC. Project location: Sacramento, CA to Reno, NV. This is a full-time hourly position with base pay range listed as $27.00/hr - $35.00/hr. Pay is subject to CA and NV prevailing wage rates and may change based on location and job duties.

What You'll Do

• Operate all heavy machinery in a safe manner
• Dig trenches, back-fill excavations, and compact & level earth to grade specifications
• Transport materials and equipment
• Load & unload equipment and material as needed
• Follow all on-site safety procedures
• Ensure contents & equipment are properly secured during transportation
• Comply with all DOT regulations and rules
• Perform daily vehicle pre-trip inspections and JHA

What You'll Bring

• Possess a valid CDL class A
• Experience operating heavy equipment and machinery
• Clean driving record (no more than 2 tickets in the last 5 years)
• Strong focus on quality and safety
• Excellent time management skills

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. Outdoor environment with exposure to weather, varying terrain, and potential hazards. May involve exposure to natural gas and electrical shock risks. Moderate to loud noise levels. Ability to stand for long periods, tolerate extreme weather, and regularly lift up to 75 pounds. Specific vision requirements apply.
