Overview
A top-tier national law firm is seeking a Legal Recruiting Manager to lead law student recruiting and oversee the Summer Associate Program for their offices. This role offers a strong platform for a recruiting professional eager to shape campus strategy, foster relationships with leading law schools, and play an integral part in the firm’s long-term talent pipeline. The position reports to the Chief Recruiting Officer and collaborates with attorney leadership, recruiting peers, and local support teams. While primary focus is on campus and summer programming, there is potential for future growth into professional development initiatives as the team evolves.
Location: Los Angeles – LA or Irvine | Hybrid (Exempt). Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr. Salary depends on experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement campus recruiting strategies across key law schools
- Manage all aspects of law student recruiting, including outreach, interview coordination, callbacks, offers, and candidate engagement
- Oversee the Summer Associate Program, including budget, events, assignments, evaluations, and post-summer follow-up
- Supervise and mentor junior recruiting team members and administrative staff
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with law school career services and student organizations
- Drive the firm’s visibility on campus through creative and targeted initiatives
- Analyze market trends and best practices to continually refine recruiting approaches
- Represent the firm at law school events, conferences, and forums
- Collaborate on firmwide recruiting initiatives and special projects as directed by leadership
Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience in legal recruiting at a major law firm, with a focus on summer or campus hiring; Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across offices and functions
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ViRecruit, FloRecruit, and Symplicity preferred
- Willingness to travel periodically within California for on-campus and firm events
- A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
