Job Details
- Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel nursing contract)
- Healthcare Setting: Hospice admissions (territory includes Thurston, Mason, and Lewis counties)
- Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 10-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 40
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 20, 2025
- End Date: January 18, 2026
- Call Requirement: No on-call shifts
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2320 - $2380
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
- Minimum 1 year of hospice admission experience required
- Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR system
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Conduct hospice admissions and patient assessments in assigned Washington territory
- Coordinate care plans and collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families about hospice services, symptom management, and end-of-life care
- Document all patient interactions and care provided using HCHB EMR
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality hospice care in accordance with industry standards
