Job Details

• Location: Oak Bluffs, MA 02557 (Martha’s Vineyard)
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient Dialysis Clinic
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (90 days)
• Start Date: October 19, 2025
• End Date: January 17, 2026
• Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday through Saturday
• Shifts: Rotating shifts between 5:30am and 10:30pm; rotating weekends; no on-call
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour shifts
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,990 - $2,130
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel nursing contract)

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis clinic environment
• Administer and monitor hemodialysis treatments for patients with chronic kidney disease
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, home care, and kidney health
• Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation and patient records
• Comply with all safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent hemodialysis nursing experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends as scheduled
• Excellent communication and clinical teamwork skills
