Overview

RN Staff role at The Brothers of Mercy Wellness Campus. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team and provide the highest quality of care to our residents.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care and assist in planning and evaluating resident needs
• Serve as Charge Nurse supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Administer medications (including controlled substances) per policy and physician orders
• Support resident hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and comfort
• Transcribe physician orders, assist with medical rounds, and ensure lab tests are completed as ordered
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident conditions to the RN Supervisor and attending physicians
• Develop and implement resident care plans and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
• Carry out restorative nursing measures in collaboration with therapy services
• Perform treatments and nursing interventions as ordered
• Apply safety and comfort measures to ensure the well-being of residents

Qualifications

• Current NY State RN License required
• Positive, dependable, and caring with a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to provide high-quality care while following established procedures and safety standards
