$23.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Work Specifications – Responsibilities

• Responsible for food safety, product quality, and following all safety procedures.
• Safely guide milk trucks into receiving bays and operate doors, ramps, and chocks.
• Receive, handle, and sample milk according to state and company procedures.
• Read and apply the State Sampling Procedure Handbook.
• Understand basic lab terminology (e.g., DMC, antibiotics, butterfat, cryo).
• Clean and sanitize trucks, tankers, silos, and transfer lines using CIP systems.
• Perform and document chemical titrations and ensure wash tags/seals are properly used.
• Complete all receiving paperwork and ensure accurate, legible documentation.
• Know how to fill out Receiving Sheet and Truck Schedules accurately.
• Verify producer numbers and communicate any discrepancies.
• Use computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Wonderware for reporting.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all assigned tasks.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education/Prerequisite Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

Equipment/Training Knowledge

• Dairy/Food manufacturing background preferred but not required
• NYS Milk Receivers License

• 6:00 pm - 6:30 am

Rate of Pay

Rate of Pay: $23.10 to $24.10
