Overview
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role with extended recovery shifts. Sign-On Bonus of up to $1,500 for eligible new hires. Employment with a nonprofit CHI hospital network focused on compassionate, community-based care.
Responsibilities
- Start your shift by checking in with the CNA leaving to learn about your patients.
- Check on patients every hour, take vitals, update whiteboards, and provide assistance as needed.
- Assist patients with walking to chairs, bathrooms, or down the hall; help patients going home safely to their cars.
- Assist with personal care (bathing, towels, soap) as needed.
- Work with the nurse during tube placements (e.g., NG tubes or catheters); assist with supplies and cleanup.
- Support the nurse with wound checks or changing bandages and help with cleanup.
- Ensure beds are fresh, monitor patient weights, and complete other daily tasks.
- Work 12-hour shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) with every third weekend and rotating holidays for more weekday days off.
Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Successfully completed the 75-hour state-approved Nursing Assistant course.
- Active Nurse Aide (CNA) license in good standing in Nebraska.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Pay Range
$17.24 - $24.35 /hour
