Overview
Security Supervisor role at Swedish. Oversees and maintains the flow and balance of work in the Security Department. Provides leadership, direction, and a working environment that promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction, and ensures that service standards are met for the Security department in a manner consistent with SMC's/EDM's mission, vision and values. The position may be required to work on multiple campuses and shifts and must be able to perform all duties and functions of a Security Officer, including initial incident response, interviewing and investigations.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Security Department’s daily operations to maintain flow and balance of work.
- Provide leadership, direction, and a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure security standards are met in alignment with organizational mission, values, and policies.
- Perform all duties of a Security Officer as needed, including initial incident response, interviewing, and investigations.
- May be assigned to work across multiple campuses and shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent, or two years of related training/experience, preferably in healthcare security.
- Upon hire: FEMA Level 100 or higher certification.
- Upon request: Driving may be necessary; must comply with state driving laws and provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
Preferred Qualifications
- Upon hire: Basic Security Officer Certification and Supervisory Development Certification through International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety.
- 2 years of related experience and/or training, preferably in Healthcare Security and Safety.
Pay range: $31.43 - $48.08 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
