Responsibilities

• Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted Starbucks food quality and freshness.
• State and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
• As a Starbucks Barista, perform typical responsibilities including delivering an exceptional guest experience, maintaining Food & Beverage standards, executing beverage and food processes, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and signage.
• Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent experience while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining food safety.
• Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain an inviting dining area; engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations; craft beverages and food to recipe cards.
• Complete cleaning tasks and ensure proper handling of damaged, recalled, or expired items.
• Manage in-stocks with store-initiated orders; follow perishable inventory procedures; participate in sampling; assist with guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of total store tools, products, and services to assist guests.
• Complete required training and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products; demonstrate safety and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.

• Strong communication and ability to use handheld scanners and technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; attention to detail; multi-tasking.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and meet timeframes.
