LOCUM ANESTHESIOLOGIST in Asheboro, North Carolina Job ID:
- Specialty: Anesthesiologist
- Practice Setting: OR/Surgery Department. Small Community Hospital. 145-bed facility. 5100 annual volume - around 500 OB cases per year.
- Dates/Coverage Needed: Beginning ASAC (ideally November) - one week on one week off from Monday-Monday. Monday-Friday are 8-hour day shifts + beeper call every night from 3 pm - 7 am. Sat/Sun are two 24-hour beeper call shifts ending at 7 am on Monday.
- Case Mix: Bread & Butter with OB, healthy peds (over the age of 2 and only ENT), uro, endo, ortho. No hearts and no heads.
- Support Staff/Supervision: CRNAs are 100% supervised during the day at a 1:4 or 1:5 ratio. At night, while on call, the Anesthesiologists do their cases.
- Credentialing Time-Frame: 30 days
- Active NC License
