Overview
Applications are being accepted for Material Control Specialist in the Facilities, located at the District Warehouse (Miramar Campus). Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department’s needs. Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor. Responsibilities
Maintain material control processes in the district facilities warehouse. Operate a variety of material handling equipment and vehicles. Support distribution center operations and multiple campus locations as assigned.
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications: Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Good hearing and listening skills. Operate a variety of material handling equipment and vehicles. Applicants with foreign degrees must have coursework evaluated by a professional association that is a member of NACES or ACEI, and a copy of the evaluation must be submitted with the online application.

Employment after Retirement:
Retired annuitants must reinstate from retirement systems per CalPERS or CalSTRS guidelines.
