Sr. Manager, BU Sales & Strategy – Hydration

Job location: Chicago, IL (Aon Center). This role leads trade management and strategic initiatives for Kraft Heinz Hydration (Capri Sun, Kool-Aid, and others). Primary responsibilities include driving process improvements, forecast accuracy, trade efficiency, distribution recommendations, and merchandising strategies to support profitable revenue and operating income growth. The role also designs customer joint business plans, strategic partnerships, and customer growth summits in collaboration with cross-functional partners, and steers the Business Unit’s strategic agenda with marketing, finance, field sales, and supply chain to ensure target delivery and collaboration with customer teams. Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Develop robust business proposals that align brand objectives with customer strategic interests. Analyze category data to provide insights and recommendations on assortment, merchandising, pricing, and promotion. Lead distribution build, pricing, and promotional compliance to guardrails across existing and new categories to balance channels and maximize revenue. Collaborate with Revenue Management and Customer Sales to deliver efficient promotional spend while maintaining customer relationships and competitive edge. Monitor trade marketing and shopper marketing budgets to ensure spend discipline and implement approved infusions to meet financial goals. Deliver sales forecasting accuracy by leading monthly demand forecasting routines with Demand Planning, Supply, and Sales to identify volume drivers and updates. Identify whitespace opportunities across channels through product distribution gaps, innovation, and profitable promotional plans. Manage product supply shortages by communicating with Supply Chain and Customer Sales to minimize revenue loss and impact to customers. Analyze competitive landscape to support an efficient go-to-market strategy and respond to threats. Track commercialization progress for new items to meet customer launch dates and needs. Own communication routines with Sales teams (often 100+ participants) to gather market intelligence and ensure BU priorities, brand strategies, and tactics are executed. Participate in customer growth summits, innovation deep dives, and line reviews to develop and deliver short- and long-term growth plans. Develop strong cross-functional relationships to ensure efficient execution and maximize revenue realization. Required Experience & Skills

Seasoned FMCG experience; prior category management or sales experience required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data experience; familiarity with syndicated POS and panel data is a plus. Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver on timelines. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills. Advanced Excel skills and experience with databases. Experience presenting to and working with customers and internal leaders. Compensation & Benefits

New Hire Base Salary Range: $118,400.00 – $148,000.00 Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents. The compensation offered will reflect internal equity and may vary depending on geographic region, knowledge, skills, and experience.
