As a Material Handler, you'll be integral in managing inventory, fulfilling orders, handling materials, and keeping precise records, all while providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Oversee and monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate stock records while addressing discrepancies. Order Fulfillment:

Participate in and supervise the picking, packing, and shipping processes, ensuring accurate and timely order dispatch. Material Handling:

Operate and maintain advanced warehouse equipment like forklifts, reach trucks, and palletizers, ensuring proper material handling and storage; cycle counting experience is preferred. Documentation and Reporting:

Keep precise records of inventory transactions, shipments, and receipts; prepare reports on inventory levels and order statuses. Safety and Compliance:

Uphold safety regulations to minimize risks, ensuring a safe working environment in accordance with company policies and requirements. Customer Service:

Address and resolve any material handling or order fulfillment concerns to ensure high customer satisfaction. Your Profile / Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in warehouse operations or material handling are a plus. Experience:

Previous warehouse experience with a focus on inventory management and equipment operation. A minimum of 1 year of forklift experience is required. Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse practices; cycle counting experience is a plus. Physical Requirements:

Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items safely; ability to stand/walk for extended periods. Attention to Detail:

Accuracy in all inventory and shipping activities is crucial. Problem-Solving:

Skill in identifying and resolving discrepancies or inefficiencies in processes. Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic data entry. Equipment Operation:

Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse machinery. Time Management & Flexibility:

Ability to meet deadlines while navigating changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Communication:

Strong teamwork abilities and competence in following both written and verbal instructions. Work Environment:

Willingness to work in various conditions, including different outdoor temperatures. The expected base pay range for this position starts at $20-$22 per hour. Note that GEA Group has different base pay ranges based on varying work locations across the United States. Please note that this pay range is not a guarantee of compensation. The final offer will depend on various factors, including skills, experience, location, and other job-related considerations.
